A embarrasing fact: sexism

Hello! i speaking about a problem that affect deeply our society today, is the “sexism”, I think that is a great problem because stopping the same development  between men and women, for example, a woman earn a 30% less that a man making the same job, or that for being woman, you are exposed to being victim of workplace harassment. The access to education is other point, the difference as you reciving education, for example that some subjects the boys is “the best” as math and science, and for the women only remain the humanities or art, but even the men to have more oportunities for development in any area of knowledge.

A form of figth the sexism is through education, educate from equality of that men and women are equal, just so we can having a healthy society and fair. Give the same opportunities is really important for create a best society. Eradicate the sexism is goodwill of all .

The bike: the new form to move in the city

My free time activity is riding in bicycle, i used the bike in the week and weekend. A bicycle is an element that gives great benefits. 
First a great benefit of the bicycle i can use it anytime, by bike a trip can shorten to the middle a bus trip, for example my trip to the universityis 35 minutes while by bus is 1 hour, it permits me  arrive on time and with calm to the classes. Secondly, to have a bike is not difficult, is a chep and accesible transport, nowadays buying a bicycle is not expensive, there are of all prices and coloirs, being possible to have a bike without problems. In addition, a bike permits to have a better health, for example, you control stress, lose weight and do physical activity. 

In conclusion a bicycle is a investment in health, helping to have more mental health and physical health, in autonomy, getting more independence to move in the city, as well as it allows a higher care of the enviroment.

La Serena.

The best holidays in the last years was in "La Serena", 3 years ago.

I still remember this travel was really important for me, because, I could shared with my mom, discovered that want studied and knew one of my favorite city,

I took some tours for the city and near village. I knew the Elqui Valley and Coquimbo, in the valley visited "Los Nichos"a place where is produced "pisco"a liquor Chilean traditional, then I went to Vicuña, Montegrande, Diaguita (town where is fabricated the handmade beer "Guayacan", is very good by if you want taste). In Coquimbo, I knew the city, I ate seafood and ride by the English nightlife.

This travel was really important. Helped me to know that want studied in a couple the years more, in this place I decided study geography. After that I had a way more clear that follow.

But mostly shared with my mom this travel was very important for me. Always being difficult shared together, the work and study, don't let see much time, then this moments were very appreciated for me. Ate much, slaughtered much, this vacation were ours.

This vacations was very messy, I believe than can speaking more it, but this is the more important and relevant, was the reading in this post.

Fight for a right

In Chile demand for better education increase in the last years. although  is true than the access for enter to nursery school, primary, secondary and college including the university increase. This follow being a large carrer and a nightmare for thousand of families than keep yet, big debt with banks (result the loans giving for the state) for can study.

The fight for the right a study to have epic moment with called "revoluciones pinguinas" the most remind ocurred in 2006 later again in 2011, this remember as the most big to date, mobilized a millions of persons under slogan "the education is a right, not privilege". Showed the need of have education " free, quality and for all".

Many persons your wonder, if this always be like this, but not, this be diferent, before in 1970, the education was a right guaranteed for the state of Chile, but after the military dictatorship , in where the reforms do, reach all areas means, political, economy and society were affected.

Change all. A new constitution says, than the state finance the educaction nursery, primary and secondary, but not the college or university, neither says about quality of the education to impart. Only speaking the access but not the quality.

Today the access not is the principal discussion, actual debate should be already of the quality of the education. What type of the education want Chile?...

Recent debate than even have all Chile, thinking as recover the state education, than seeking to ensure personal development, the happiness of people and fulfil your mission, Not for working and die. Here remember to the educator María Montessori :" The first work of the education is incite the life, but let it free for than development". The education is for form people for enjoy yourself.... the your life.

Sexism in Chile

The gender equality in the world is a theme that is a controversial and actual, as progress in the equality of gender and building a world more fair in where be woman or man not designate as you living your life or as should be or as long as toy playing.

Chile not be out of this discussion, according to OCDE, Chile is the country with more gender inequality, the women had a 23 % below of probability having a job remunerate in compation with a man (this is a 12%), more even, much this women your job is informal or with a pay very little.
Also the proportion the women and men that not studing, not jobbing or being in formation, is more tall for the women than men, with a 30% for the women and a 15% for the men, being the women more poor affected for this situation.

But the sad panorama not ending here, in Latinoamerica the measure the women's assesinate is the more tall in the world and Chile this between the more high in the continent, for end the year 2015, 45 women ended dead for your husbands, cohabitants or couples. For the year 2016, until March 12 women have dead, in hands of men. This is 2 examples are with witch the woman chilean may live together day to day

In education, the panorama is more encouraging, the education  is obligatory in Chile for all girls and boys since 4 years, pre-school, school and secundary are secured for the state, in the case the higher education, more men join to university that women, the women is graduate before y more that the men. Being in the area health and pedagogy where predominate.

In Chile, in Latinoamerica exist inequality of gender, but the ignorance for the men and women of this situation maintains the inequality. The education is the weapon principal for combation the inequality of gender. EDUCATE WOMEN! ONLY YOU CAN ENDED THE GENDER INEQUALITY!!!

My holidays

Hi friends!, in it entrance I will to talk of my holidays, this year in Punta Arenas in the Chile's south, the zone Magallanica. I traveled for most the zone, i knew Puerto Natales, this it to 242 kilometres of Punta Arenas, there be the national park "Torres del paine" considered the eighth wonder of the world.  The park has multiple attractive natural between  mountain rage, rivers with waterfalls and native fauna that take the landscape. There are services for the turist as hotels, restaurant and turism's service. 

Also i knew the Porvenir city, the zone of "Tierra del Fuego", is a barren, a place of steppe, in which breeding ranching, in your moment in it place are the company "sociedad ganadera y agricola de magallanes".  As well there is a reserv private the king penguins, while the cost of entrance is expensive be worth known. 

Don't forget know Fuertes Bulnes (Fortress Bulnes), Bahia del hambre (Hungry's bay) and geography landmark, there Chile is divided for half parts.   

For eating in the city of  Punta arenas recommend in the restaurant "Los 80", and  the best restaurant of Chile "El kiosco la roca".

My presentation

Hi Friends, my name is Natalia, i'm 19 and I live in Santiago of Chile, my bithday on May 3, my sing is taurus. I study geography in the University of Chile, my favourite subject is cultural geography and loving riding in bicycle.

In my family we are 4, my mom, Carmen, my cat, Valentín, my dog, Michelle and me. My mom is boss in a private company providing a public service , she works hard, as his company provides a very important service , electricity.

I would like a great geographer because I want contribute for discipline, it is very powerful and has much to contribute to science. My hobbies is reading, listening music and surfing in internet. In free time i like see documentals and going to walk, also cooking dessert. I don't like the mondays. My favourite food is rice with tomato and french fries, my favourite drink is the fresh water, and my favourite day in the week is the friday because it gives me impression weekend of relaxation and leave responsibilities for while jajaja.

My favourite band is "los Bunkers#. I love "bichos" of pixar. My favourite place is my yard in my house, ismy refuge from the world. The most beautiful place in Chile is La Serena in the north of the country. I study english because want can travelling learning about geography and know other culture.
